RIACASH NETWORK · PRICE AND SERVICE REVIEW

Ria Money Transfer rates: what you pay, and what you get for it

Ria combines a large cash network with a public calculator that exposes more than many rivals. Its shop counter and online journey carry different costs, so they should never be folded into one convenient headline.

A win requires a completed, non-promotional quote at the same sending amount. Converter rates and modelled bank prices remain useful evidence, though neither is allowed to wear the winner's badge.

Where Ria Money Transfer makes sense

Best for
Cash pickup, bank deposit and customers who value a physical agent option.
Less suitable for
A comparison that assumes the online fee applies at a shop counter.
Where the rate cost sits
Ria adds a markup to the market rate. The rate changes with amount, destination, funding and delivery method.
What the fee tells you
Variable and shown in the calculator. Card funding generally costs more than bank funding; retail-store pricing differs from online.
Delivery
Minutes for some cash and digital routes, longer for bank-funded or bank-deposit transfers.
Access
Website, app and agent locations, with service to more than 190 countries.
THE PRICE VERDICT

How Ria Money Transfer's quote can flatter or disappoint

Ria is one of the clearer cash-network providers about the reason prices vary. Its help material states that shop and online pricing are different because the channels carry different costs. It also confirms that the exchange rate includes a markup rather than presenting the visible transfer fee as the whole cost.

The public calculator is useful because it can expose the fee, rate, total paid and recipient amount before login. Promotional first-transfer rates still need to be labelled. A repeat customer should not be ranked behind a price available only once.

Against Western Union and MoneyGram, Ria should be tested on the recipient's actual payout location and method. Against Wise, it should be tested only when both offers deliver to the same type of account. Otherwise the comparison confuses price with access.

What to price beside Ria Money Transfer

WU
Ria Money Transfer or Western Union?

Western Union can still put cash within reach almost anywhere. That network has a price, and the figure changes between online and agent transfers, making a generic “low fee” claim about as useful as it sounds.

MG
Ria Money Transfer or MoneyGram?

MoneyGram can solve a cash-payout problem that a cheaper bank service cannot touch. Its public quote journey is inconsistent, however, so we leave the rate blank when the calculator will not complete.

RM
Ria Money Transfer or Remitly?

Remitly earns its place through local delivery, including cash and mobile wallets. The welcome rate can look splendid on the first screen, so we keep it away from the repeat-customer comparison.
